What is unique to your role at The Friends of Israel?
I have the wonderful privilege of serving the Friends of Israel as a church ministry representative in the western region of the US. As a church representative I have loved meeting so many in the Body of Christ and sharing the biblical truths of Israel and the Jewish people. Additionally I have enjoyed the opportunity to interact with Jewish people with the goal of sharing the truths of the Messiah with them.
What inspires you most to do what you do for FOI?
While I thoroughly enjoy the study and preparation for preaching and teaching, it is very rewarding to see people respond to the biblical truths shared. Sometimes it serves as a reminder while other times what is shared is an "aha" moment for others.
What is one bit of wisdom you have for those who want to share the love of the Messiah with others?
Without a doubt, I would encourage the priority of nurturing your own love for the Lord and His Word. This will enable you to sincerely and genuinely care about the souls of others while looking for opportunities to share the love of the Messiah.
What Scripture compels you the most to do what you do?
Colossians 1:9-12 reminds me that my pursuit of God's will is less about what I do and should be why I do anything: "To walk worthy of the Lord and please Him in all respects."
What books have you read (other than the Bible) that have impacted your spiritual life most?
I would say that the writings of Warren Wiersbe, Renald Showers and Jerry Bridges have most impacted my spiritual life.
